I was deeply honoured to host the Òran Mór Whisky awards. It was slightly terrifying being in front of an entire room that represented the entirety of knowledge regarding the wonders of our national drink. The undoubted highlight of the evening was presenting Master Blender and Keeper of the Quaich, Dr. Rachel Barrie with the accolade of Lifetime Achievement award! It was great night that ended at 3am with a slightly blurry explanation of the cycle of murals that are the Tam o’Shanter paintings at Òran Mór
