In 2016 Colin Beattie asked me to consider doing a set of Murals telling the epic poem of Tam o'Shanter by Robbie Burns. Over the next two years I worked on the ten
extremely large panels until they were ready for unvieling in January of 2019. Just in time for Robbie Burns 260th birthday. As part of the unveiling of this event I had the honour of being
interviewed by David Hayman.
The opening night was a great success with over 300 folk in attendance. There were two other public viewings including a day with readings, performances by children and free copies of "Burns for Bairns" a fabulous book designed to introduce children to our national bard.
The paintings are designed to be hung in the Auditorium during January for the fabulous Burns suppers at Òran Mór in Glasgow.
During the rest of the year they can be found in the bar. (like the artist)
