What I do, who I do for, how I do it and who writes about it.

Although I am primarily a painter I belive that as an artist I should try to engage in as many mediums and spaces as possible. I firmly believe in St. Francis of Assisi's quote,

"He who works with his hands is a laborer.
He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.”

I mainly make paintings, mosaics and murals although I have been known to work in metal, ceramic and stone. I also make digital work although I enjoy the challenges of making art in the real world that can express more that a digital piece can.

I make artwork in collaboration with other artists, designers and archietects. I do design and consultancy work. I also work with companies on their branding. I have worked on two films recently "Trainspotting 2" (Mural and other work) and Outlaw King (Concept Artist)

I generally support 4 charities each year by donating a framed painting. The charities are chosen from requests, generally a year in advance. I am always happy to hear from charities.
