Grouse and Claret - June 2019
22nd - 25th November. Dundas Street Gallery. Dundas St. Edinburgh.
In January there was the unveiling of a two year long commission 10 very large painitngs telling the story of the epic poem Tam o'Shanter by Robert Burns. The painitngs have made their annual pilgrimage to the bar at Òran Mór and will return to the auditorium in January 2020 in time for the Burns supper season. A set of prints to commemerate the commision have been made and are on sale.
In November 2018 I had another show at the Grouse and Claret. We had a great response to the work
and great comments about the evolution of the work. The show sold out.
We sold 60% of the show in the first 20 minutes of the show opening for sale over the telephone.
The Green Gallery, Dollar and Buchlyvie.
Another great exhibition with the Green Gallery. Becky Walker was good enough to
show my work at her galleries in Dollar and Buchlyvie.
In November 2017 I had my second proper solo show as an artist. Again it was at the rather fantastic Grouse and Clartet.
Green Gallery Dollar.
June 2017. Part of a mixed exhibtion
The Green Gallery was a delight to exhibit with. The fabulous Becky Walker sold two of the paintings to a client in New York!
IIn November 2016 I had my first proper exhibition as an artist. It was at the Grouse and Claret restaurant in Kinrosshire.
It was a sell out show and was covered on the BBC and in the Scottish press.
